This treatment is revolutionising fungal nail therapy in Australia and Germany and it's now available at Neston Chiropody & Podiatry on the Wirral. We are the only Wirral clinic to offer PACT technology and believe Neston Chiropody & Podiatry is one of only 10 or so clinics to be able to provide this highly effective, revolutionary new treatment to combat fungal nail infections across the whole UK!
Why is PACT fungal nail infection treatment different?
Varying research estimates that between 8% and 20% of the British population is affected by a fungal nail infection (Onychomycosis) at some point in their lives. But, until now treatment has been far from ideal for many: topical treatments take a long to time to work and the results can be disappointing; strong anti-fungal drugs can cause unpleasant side effects and are unsuitable in many cases; and although laser treatment has proved effective, it's often painful and extremely costly. PACT offers a safe, gentle, highly effective and affordable alternative.
This revolutionary anti-fungal nail treatment, combines a special photosensitive gel with LED light to produce a safe, gentle and, most importantly, effective treatment for fungal nail infections. The therapy is extremely efficacious on the full spectrum of fungal infection cases, from mild to severe and is also safe for diabetic patients.
What is involved in PACT fungal nail infection treatment?
The treatment itself is simple and safe. Our expert podiatrist Trevor will begin by removing the infected part of the nail, before applying the special PACT photosensitive gel. Once the infected nail(s) have been covered with the gel, a special LED light is directed at the nail for approximately 10 minutes (per nail), while you sit and relax. It's as simple and easy as that. Trevor will devise a treatment programme with you, depending on the severity of the fungal nail infection and the number of toes involved and over a matter of weeks, you will see the incredible results for yourself.
PACT is revolutionising the treatment of fungal nail infections in Australia and Germany and as a progressive and forward-thinking clinic, Neston Chiropody & Podiatry is among the first to offer this therapy in the UK.
